The Arkansas Beverage Committee continues to issue liquor licenses
to establishments in dry counties over the protests of local governing
bodies, law enforcement and citizens.
Contact the Governor and the legislature and express your
concern on this issue. Ask them to address this problem.
There have been several licenses granted in Craighead county, in Batesville, in DeQueen, in Bassett (a dry area), and in Lincoln County.
The will and vote of the people is being ignored
by the ABC. Let them know how you feel.
